Winning a TGMA Award Is My Short-Term Goal, a Grammy Is the Bigger Dream – Yaw Darling

Fast-rising Ghanaian recording artiste, Yaw Darling, known in real life as Samuel Yaw Antwi, has boldly declared that he is set to win the Unsung Category at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). Speaking on Adom Showtym with Sally Mann Frimpong, the Party hitmaker expressed strong confidence in his chances, saying his nomination alone is a sign of victory ahead. “So far as I’ve been nominated, I believe I will definitely win,” he said. Yaw Darling also opened up about his aspirations in the music industry. According to him, his short-term goal is to grab a TGMA award, but his long-term dream is to one day bring home a Grammy award. “My dream is to win a Grammy and bring it home,” he stated. “It will take time because I have to build myself, build my brand, and do well in the industry.” The young artiste emphasized that while winning a Grammy may take years, he is committed to putting in the work and staying focused on his journey.
