Akuapem Poloo Physically Assaulted Me and Threatened Legal Action After Heated Interview – Mr. Savage

 Ghanaian entertainment show host Mr. Savage has opened up about a tense encounter with actress and social media personality Akuapem Poloo, claiming she threatened legal action after feeling misled by an interview on his show.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Mr. Savage revealed that Poloo was unhappy with how the interview played out, insisting she wasn’t properly briefed on the show’s concept. However, he flatly denied the allegation, stating, “I sent her links three weeks ahead of the shoot to give her a clear idea of the show’s format and explained everything.”

He emphasized that the production doesn’t follow a script, and that every intense exchange that viewers see is authentic. “My show is entirely unscripted. All the heated moments are real,” he noted.

Mr. Savage recounted how the situation escalated during the recording, revealing that Akuapem Poloo became upset over certain questions and reacted aggressively.

“Not only did she verbally attack me, but she also physically assaulted me — something no guest has ever done before,” he said.

After the episode aired, Mr. Savage said Poloo expressed further outrage, accusing the team of betrayal. “She took it very seriously and even threatened to take legal action against us. But at no point did she instruct us not to publish the interview,” he clarified.
